"What a pleasure it was to stay at the Hilton in Whistler during the Paralympic Winter Games. Your staff were excellent and your hotel showed itself to be ideally suited for the IPC's purposes. It was home from home and when so many members of the IPC Governing Board & the IPC staff..." - Sir Philip Craven, International Paralympic Committee
"...the words "Service Excellence" have been drilled into my head for the last 10 years. I never had a full comprehension of what that meant, until our stay at the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. From the moment I walked in the door ... right up unto Check-Out when a very kind Valet/Bellboy remembered my room number, making getting my keys a breeze without my forgotten Valet Ticket..." - March 2009
"The village offered excellent restaurants, shopping and sites – all within walking distance from a number of properties. Many of our delegates brought their families with them and they were all very pleased with the activities that Whistler has to offer. ...Our delegates took advantage of the various methods of transportation that are available (coach, car rental, Rocky Mountaineer) and had no issues with arriving safely and on time for the conference and their return flights. We greatly enjoyed our time in Whistler and look forward to returning in the future.” - Cynthia Vezina, Canadian Orthopaedic Association
"...many of our delegates chose to mix business with pleasure. Many of our attendees brought their spouses and families and turned their trip into a holiday by either coming early or staying a few extra days following the conference. I think the remote location helped our delegates to focus more on the education session during the day as there were fewer distractions and we had already incorporated many of the major attractions into our social program. I would highly recommend Whistler to other Associations as a great location with great venues for their Annual Conference or Event." - Donna Dennison, Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society
"It was a pleasure to work with every member of your team; hospitable, committed, organized, friendly and accommodating...they definitely live up to the reputation of the world renowned Hilton Whistler Spa and Resort." - Verna Wagner, Cross Country BC
"On behalf of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and the Canadian Healthcare Association, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the excellent service you and your team provided during the 2011 National Healthcare Leadership Conference. Your attention to detail and service-orientation contributed greatly to the success of the conference events held at the Hilton. The quality of service received by you and your team was excellent. It was a pleasure to work with you and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you again the next time we are in Whistler.” - Francine St-Martin, Manager, Conference Services
"Thank you for an event at your hotel that went off without a hitch. Every staff member that I came in contact with at the Hilton Whistler were proactive, helpful, friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Everyone went above and beyond my expectations and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was fabulous, the room set ups were as envisaged and described, the AV was perfect, and I so appreciated Matthew being available to me before each meeting started. The banquet staff were delightful and the concierge and bell staff were all amazing. Please pass along my thanks to the hotel staff and this e-mail to your senior management.” - Elaine Hasemore, Assistant to the Board of Directors, North Shore Credit Union
"On behalf of the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education/Association canadienne des agents de communication en education (CACE/ACACÉ), I would like to express our sincerest thanks for your role in the success of our 2013 national conference…Thanks to your efforts we were able to deliver an outstanding experience to our members. We greatly appreciate the contribution of your entire team to CACE 2013 “a fresh edge/à la fine pointe” and wish you every success with Hilton Whistler in the future." - Victoria Miles, Committee Chair

Working at all levels of the business, from guests to suppliers to employees; we will endeavor to progressively reduce our impact on the environment. The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa has adopted a long-term approach to ensure a continuous commitment to the environment and its preservation.

The hospitality industry generates large quantities of waste and thus has the potential to dramatically reduce the amount contributed to our landfills. Proof of the commitment is shown by the fact that the Hilton Corporation was the first company in our industry to receive the EnergyStar® award from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. “Through the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa’s combined efforts in reducing the waste stream to landfills and minimizing the energy usage in transporting and processing products, we can all make a substantial and favorable impact on our environment,” say Jennifer Morrison, Public Relations and Communications Manager as well as Green Team Member. The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa would like to help the Resort Municipality of Whistler reach its goal of being completely sustainable by 2020.
